ABBREVIATIONS

MATERIAL YOU NEED
– Yarn in hot pink, light pink, white, yellow, green, blue, orange, purple, dark grey and light grey
– 2.50 mm crochet hook (or the size you need depending on your type of yarn)
– Tapestry Needle
– Polyester stuffing
– 8 mm safety eyes
– Black embroidery floss
– Locking stitch marker

HEAD
With white yarn
Start with a magic ring

Put your work on a piece of cardboard and cut out a piece thats the same size as the bottom. Place
the cardboard piece in the bottom of the body. This will give more stability to your gumball machine.

Stuff the body as much as you can, the pin the head on top of it.
Sew the body to the head using the yarn tail you left. Before you sew it all the way around

Make 14 pieces in total
2 orange
2 green
3 pink
2 purple
3 yellow

Start with a magic ring
R1: 6 sc into the magic ring (6)
R2: [1 inc] x6 (12)
Finish with 1 sl. Fasten off but leave a long yarn tail for sewing.
Pin each gum to the head of the gumball machine and sew them on, one by one.

CONTROL PANEL
With dark grey
R1: Chain 10
R2-11: Start in the second ch from the hook, sc in each ch, ch 1 and turn (9)
Single crochet around the borders to get it to look more even.
Fasten off, leave a long yarn tail for sewing.
Pin the control panel on to the body and sew it on (Pictures on page 12)

HEART PANEL
With light grey
Start with a magic ring, don´t pull it togheter.
Make 9 dc into the magic ring, join with 1 sl to the first dc. Pull the ring togheter a little bit.
In the 2nd dc – do 3 dc
In the 3rd dc – do 1 dc, 1 hdc
In the 4th dc – do 2 sc
In the 5th dc – do 1 hdc, 1 dc
In the 6th dc – do 1 dc, 1 hdc
In the 7th dc – do 2 sc
In the 8th dc – do 1 hdc, 1 dc
In the 9th dc – do 3 dc
Finish off with 1 sl
Fasten off but leave a 20 cm long yarn tail for sewing.
Pull the ring togheter tightly.
Sew a black string across the middle of the heart
Pin it to the middle of the control panel and sew it on (Pictures on page 12)
